Day one on a new POCKET MYTH server
Which server to pick, what to do before level 20, and how to clear the psychic gym and the level-100 Oak fight.
Picking a server
Anniversary, New Year and National Day servers run richer opening events, which suits anyone starting fresh. A normal first day lands between 44 and 46 depending on whether you bought the monthly card.
Three things people skip
Fill your friend list so stamina trades daily. Pick up every Poké Ball you walk past. Redeem the starter codes on day one instead of saving them.
The psychic gym
Bring a dark or steel body, open with sleep or paralysis, then hit with your strongest move. Trading blows into Psychic is the losing line.
Level-100 Oak
The side quest unlocks at 55 and every one of his six is level 100, led by Venusaur. The reward is Leftovers, which stays relevant for the rest of the game, so come back once you out-level it.
Bodies worth keeping
Gyarados with Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Ice Fang and Crunch. Garganacl for Salt Cure chip damage. Excadrill for physical pressure with Earthquake and Swords Dance. Clodsire for its ability that ignores every stat change the opponent makes.
