Every training system in POCKET MYTH, in one pass
Levels, held items, moves, abilities, natures, quality, IVs, EVs, friendship, Mega, Tera, Stellar, Dynamax and Overlord.
The four basics
Level caps at 100 and EXP candy is plentiful. Held items matter most on UR and SSR bodies: Focus Sash, Leftovers, Covert Cloak and Choice Band all change how a fight plays. Moves come from level-up or TMs, and abilities unlock with ability stones.
Natures and quality
A nature raises one stat and lowers another, so pick the stat you can afford to lose. Quality climbs white, blue, purple, orange, red and deep red, and it is bought with charm stones and charms rather than ground out.
IVs, EVs and friendship
IVs reroll with capsules or jump straight to the cap with silver and gold crowns; the ceiling is 31 per stat. EVs cap at 252 per stat and 510 total, one berry at a time. Friendship comes from nutrient drinks and pays a bonus at 99, 199 and 255.
The advanced layer
Mega Evolution lifts base stats. Tera has 18 types and either boosts your Tera type or dodges the original weakness. Stellar and Dynamax both run ten levels and raise everything. Overlord runs three levels and changes the effect visuals as well as base stats.
Order of investment
Level and stars first, then IVs and EVs, then quality and friendship. When resources are tight, always feed the Pokémon that will still be in your lineup next month.
