Rock is the cheapest mono-type team to build and the worst into grass. Pick it knowing that.
Why rock
Rock units are common, cheap to star up, and hit hard enough to end fights early. The whole team can be assembled from content you already clear.
The weakness
Grass and water both punish a rock lineup. Keep one non-rock coverage slot, even in the cup, or accept the bad matchup.
