When a patch touches move power or accuracy, the affected Pokémon often swap a few places in the tier list without any stat change. Re-test your main lineup in a friendly battle before queueing ranked.

Practical check

Run the same team through two or three ladder games and watch which trades you now lose. Most players over-react to a move change and rebuild a team that was never the problem.
