Elite Cup August report: water everywhere
Nearly three thousand trainers entered. Water was the most played type and fairy posted the best score.
The shape of the meta
Water was the most common type by a wide margin, which made grass-heavy counters profitable for anyone who expected the trend.
What to take from it
Popularity is not the same as strength. The highest score came from a type that was not the most played, which is usually the case.
